I had such high hopes for RFK as a candidate as I’ve been following him throughout the Pandemic. A major disappointment is his position on climate change and the Paris Accord. I’ll have to dig more but if he’s all for the green agenda, that would be a deal breaker for me. I would also like to know what he plans to do about the 6 million plus who have illegally crossed the border into the US and the many millions more who will still come through the open border. We can’t afford them and we legal citizens should not have to foot the bill for them or have to deal with them in any capacity. It’s just plain wrong and it is unsustainable. They broke the law and they need to go back where they came from.

It’s not clear if he wants regulation on assault weapons. A non-technical fuzzy definition of assault weapons means a complete ban on weapons. that seems a bit unfair. we've always had immigration and a wise leader increases the levels in times of needs and decreases them when it's appropriate. right now, i know a young couple from russia, highly skilled musicians, both educated at yale where they met. the hoops they have to jump through and the expense is unbelievable. the vaccine requirements and tests for STDs are shocking. and yet, people with zero skills, no education, certainly no vaccines and probably every STD in the book are walking across the border daily.

i have heard him say that the number of illegal immigrants should be zero but that it should be easier for legal immigrants. i have also heard him say that guns are in the constitution and so can't be messed with.
