The whole ‘reducing CO2’ climate change argument will destroy life on our planet. At what point did we forget elementary school science when we learned that plants use CO2 and turn it into oxygen? Humans need it too. Simple concept. We need more trees and more farms, not less.

What we, the people, really need to do is insist that all of these egotistical, self important globalist types STOP flying around in their private jets. Until they do, people like Bill Gates, should STFU about “climate change” because that alone makes it obvious that it’s not about the planet or people, but CONTROL of us.

There are so many problems and I don’t expect to agree 100% with any candidate.

I like RFK. I actually discuss him (and a DeSantis in a previous article), but more and more I analyze the election process, I just don’t think the current process will yield any substantial change.

I think it’s best we direct our energies at our local governments -- the ones that we can go right up too if they don’t comply with our votes vs presidential governments that are too big to be held accountable

Changing the corporate capture of our agencies will be a titanic shift in the business as usual model. Doing the proper studies to find out what is causing the explosion in chronic disease and obesity in our children is an imperative. Many important changes can and must happen at the top, which RFK can easily accomplish by executive order. But, of course all politics is local too.

Mr Kennedy I am a long time independent conservative thinker and voter. I find you to be so much more appealing than the current president and the former President now running for the office again. I however find your views on climate change discouraging. As you say the EPA and USDA appear to be captured like the CDC and FDA are. I think you need to look into the capture of the EPA and the climate change industry. Just as big pharmaceutical Companies rig their trials to achieve the pre determine outcome the same thing is occurring in climate science. The only studies funded are those that fit the pre approved narrative. Therefore the statement that the science is settled is a lie just as is the statement that the MRNA shots were safe and effective.

To earn my vote for President you will need to clarify that your not opposed to the continue use of fossil fuels and will oppose any bans on the use of the internal combustion engine. That fossil fuels have propelled billions out of poverty and early deaths and that they will continue to be vital to our economic success. That you will never impose a massive cost on the American people by banning cheap and plentiful fossil fuels that the only way to help raise people out of poverty will be fossil fuels and the economic growth that comes from their use. That you will dismantle the same agencies that continue to fund only research that supports a narrative which is anti-scientific.

I'll second that call for more clarity on his stance on combustible fuels (oil, gas and coal). I saw the para about eliminating subsidies on oil and coal. That's fine. How about curtailing those subsidies (and agency/corporate capture) carved out for the so-called 'green' energy sources and products?

Each electric car reportedly gets about $50,000 in subsidies. The lifetime environmental costs per vehicle end up being MORE than a Toyota Corolla or Matrix.

Do you know what the overall subsidies are and have been for big oil? The military industrial complex is built on the oil capture model. These policies, that serve the top, have curtailed progress in alternatives greatly. If we had an equal playing field, green would win hands down. We currently do not have the grid needed to transport alternative energy, which RFK wants to invest in. The way electric costs have risen, we should all be in favor of cheaper options,

To all interested in some alternative views on climate; I'm a Belgian subscriber.

RFK calls climate change a serious problem. I wonder why? His background and understanding of Globalist lies would give me another impression.

Therefore I invite everyone to please, please carefully read the Clintel.org peer-review of the IPCC AR6 report, "the fozen views of the IPCC". Next fact-check it or have it done, even more truly and carefully than you read it, and you probably will never believe the IPCC, UN, and many others ever again.

Clintel peer review of the IPCC AR6 is subscribed and endorsed by a group of well over 1650 impartial scientists, amongst 2 true Nobel prize winners. One of them is the 2022 Nobel prize winner for phisics John Clauser, subscribing and endorsing Clintel's work. The 1650 are all graduates, Phd's, professors, or otherwise honoured and celebrated, unlike the IPCC pseudo-"top-scientists" that count some 400 lead-autors and 800 non graduates, even a more than fair portion of 1st year uniev students.

J.Clauser supports Clintel's "there is no climate urgency" after studying their IPCC AR6 critical review report. John Clauser now is deplatformed, defamed, de-everythinged, .... same as JFK jr and Clintel themselves ofcourse. They also are not welcome anymore in the same places.

The document from Clintel.org: "the fozen views of the IPCC".

I whish you all, all the love and wisedom in the world.

Excellent essay! It's tough trying to "thread the needle" on the topic, especially on climate change (hopefully he'll do the same with Gaza?). Way back in 1988, before it got political, I studied the subject in an U of M biology class. Then, and now, I believe the evidence supports it being a serious problem. I've lived in Michigan for almost 60 years, it's clear that the climate has started going off the rails (crazy hot summers, winters whipsawing between warm and cold). Unfortunately, many in the health freedom movement who were right on Covid, have failed to apply the same skepticism toward those downplaying the issue. Just like Big Pharma pushed bad "science" for profit, Big Oil has done the same with climate change propaganda to protect their profits. Everyone needs to do their own research and explore both sides of the issue.

I can’t deny my lying eyes. I live on the coast not far from Cape Cod, where RFK grew up, The flooding events are now routine. Our beaches are gone at high tide. Something has happened. My instincts tell me that most of this is coming from natural cycles, although excessive carbon can cause warming. So do acidic oceans and decimating forests. I think he wants to focus most on clean up and regeneration, which is good all the way around. He also wants to build the grid to transport new energy technologies, which is also only good. From my cursory study on this issue, we should be seriously looking at the incoming ice age and start preparing for life and food production indoors. It may be a long time from now, or it may come rapidly, but come it will, according to many scientists.
