California is a winner-take-all state. I don’t believe there are enough Dems who will vote for RFK instead of Kamala. RFK has also made that calculation. Grand jury’s are citizens not legal scholars. They were an intentionally biased group from a Trump hating state told things that will not stand up upon appeal. That’s the consensus of legal scholars. Grand juries are confidential. How would you know about intentions or if the group was biased or what they were told? Which legal scholars know about the grand jury proceedings?

The NY judge is delaying the sentencing to maintain the false “convicted felon” moniker to harm Trump’s campaign because they know that this case won’t stand on appeal. Judge Merchan knows he violated his oath by what he did and did not allow to be admissible in his court. He basically asked the jury to accept the false premise that a crime had taken place based on Cohen’s previous guilty plea when in fact there was no proof that the presumed crime had occurred in the first place, as it is NOT illegal to require an NDA if one chooses to pay off a slanderer or a person who has factual, embarrassing (not illegal) info that one wishes to keep secret for business or personal reasons.
Merchan was relying on a NYC jury to be fully biased against Trump and/or ignorant of the law. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they’re slow-walking this in order to use it as a last resort to try to keep a duly-elected president from taking office come January by somehow claiming they must save democracy by stopping a convicted felon from becoming president, knowing full-well that the window for appeal is too narrow to allow corrections before the inauguration. This is nothing more than extremely cynical election interference that risks truly damaging our democratic republic.

Note that the Party is first convicted in an impeachment process before they can even move on to the court system. The reasons for this should be obvious to any thinking person. The lower courts' treatment of Trump clearly only demonstrates the need for this order.

California is a winner-take-all state. I don’t believe there are enough Dems who will vote for RFK instead of Kamala. RFK has also made that calculation. If Bobby were not on the ballot, my family and I would have left our ballots blank because even the other 3rd party candidates are not aligned with our values. Grand jury’s are citizens not legal scholars. They were an intentionally biased group from a Trump hating state told things that will not stand up upon appeal. That’s the consensus of legal scholars. The NY judge is delaying the sentencing to maintain the false “convicted felon” moniker to harm Trump’s campaign because they know that this case won’t stand on appeal. Judge Merchan knows he violated his oath by what he did and did not allow to be admissible in his court. He basically asked the jury to accept the false premise that a crime had taken place based on Cohen’s previous guilty plea when in fact there was no proof that the presumed crime had occurred in the first place, as it is NOT illegal to require an NDA if one chooses to pay off a slanderer or a person who has factual, embarrassing (not illegal) info that one wishes to keep secret for business or personal reasons.
Merchan was relying on a NYC jury to be fully biased against Trump and/or ignorant of the law. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they’re slow-walking this in order to use it as a last resort to try to keep a duly-elected president from taking office come January by somehow claiming they must save democracy by stopping a convicted felon from becoming president, knowing full-well that the window for appeal is too narrow to allow corrections before the inauguration. This is nothing more than extremely cynical election interference that risks truly damaging our democratic republic.

Individuals senators will presumably pay in the next election if the voters perceive them as covering for a president who clearly did something egregious.

Trump, who no voter ever believed was a sexual puritan in the first place, allegedly used his own money to squash a story that was more likely to hurt his marriage than his chances of being elected. Also, the DNC and the Clinton campaign was merely fined for not reporting their payment for the Steele Dossier (nothing if not a slanderous document meant to interfere with the election by leaking misinformation to the public before the election) and reporting it as "legal services.” Justify that!

Merchan was visibly hostile to the defense and anyone who believes that Judge Merchan did a “wonderful job” is a partisan hack. The case wouldn’t pass the smell test in a higher court, and Judge Merchan knows that as long as he holds this case in his corrupt lap, it is still active and a useful cudgel against Trump’s presidential campaign. The only question is how much is he willing to beclown himself before the jig is up?
As far as NYC juries go…the fact that 12 New Yorkers decided in favor of E. Jean Carroll tells me all I need to know about Trump’s chances of getting a reasonably fair hearing in NYC.

No, unfortunately they have gerrymandered so much that they don't have to worry besides the fact that they have 6 year terms so a lot of them haven't been up for reelection yet. Several have admitted that they were scared for their lives and their families, so they didn't convict. That's a sad state of affairs.

That was one of the possible ways to look at it. Other possibilities were tax fraud and campaign finance fraud. It was pretty clear during the trial that the whole point was to hide information from the voters.

The impeachment clause itself states that there is not immunity from prosecution . Read article 1, section 3, clause 7. It is absolutely ridiculous that the supreme court determined that our founding fathers meant to give the right of kings to any leader of this nation they'd fought so hard to unshackle from that tyranny
“Judgement in the case of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party CONVICTED [emphasis mine] shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment, and Punishment, according to Law.
Note that the Party is first convicted in an impeachment process before they can even move on to the court system. The reasons for this should be obvious to any thinking person. The lower courts' treatment of Trump clearly only demonstrates the need for this order.
Let me ask you something. Obama ordered a drone strike that killed an American citizen overseas. Should the state where this citizen is from be able to bring him to a criminal court for executing an American without trial?
The President of the US can make decisions in war that lead to the deaths of thousands, yet you think that the lower courts should be able to trump up a charge to prosecute them once they’re out of office? Pshaw! You should be more concerned that the past several administrations (minus Trump) essentially engaged in war without congressional approval.

I have long admired your commitment and tenacity. Your book, The Real Anthony Fauci, confirmed my worst nightmare and gave me insight and information I didn’t have before.
Your work helping fishermen clean up waterways through litigation is inspiring. When you took on big pharma and vaccines I was in awe. You have been a warrior and now a hero. Giving up your political party, with all it has meant your family, was an act of courage. Endorsing Trump and agreeing to work in his administration has probably burned all bridges to that party. Yet your commitment to eliminating chronic conditions in children and adults has caused you to step up to the challenge. As a retired RN I have followed you for these many months, and while I don’t agree with all of your platform, I agree on many issues, especially health. Thank you for taking this leap of faith to help your countrymen. May God bless you and guide through your endeavors. Godspeed.

One thing I would encourage people to do is listen to some long form interviews with RFK. If you believe anything the media tells you whatsoever, you will think he is a complete nut job. (You know… the old thing about how hard it is to disprove a negative?!)
After reading his book, I listened to him speak to Joe Rogan, Lex Fridman, Jocko Willink, and one more, I think maybe Tucker. He comes across as an unbelievably thoughtful, intelligent, and articulate man.
I would encourage anyone that has any doubts about RFK to give him a deeper look.
