All the "negative commentary" here tells me that you've struck a nerve. "Someone" is terrified of your message. The more scared they are, the happier I am.
What message are you speaking of? The negative commentary is coming from wanting an explanation of his support of Israels actions of genocide against Palestinian civilians. So many children. How can one not be upset and comment here when we are so hoping for a person of compassion and heart to step forward to
be a true leader in this time of need.
It might be wise to be strategic about what us little people decide to fight each other about. We can all agree on living wages & corporate pollution, for instance. Let's figure out where we all benefit and focus on that? "They" sure want us to fight about other stuff. Are you sure it is to your benefit to make them happy?
I don't think anyone is terrified here. There are, however, plenty of people who heard criticism of senseless wars from Kennedy, and he's changing his tune.
I wasn't referring to us little people. Its another group entirely that is terrified. They win whenever we fight among ourselves. Any 50% issue gets automatically magnified by them - to distract us from issues like "living wages" and corporate polluters where we'd all benefit and they would lose.
Just listened to the Theo Von podcast you were featured on; please don't get sucked into the 'housing first' failed philosophy. No doubt Blackrock and the rest are keeping my generation well away from home ownership, but do not conflate it with the 'homelessness' epidemic. A much better author on this topic (no offense to your son's recommendation) is Michael Shellenberger. Billions of dollars - in the state of California alone - have been poured into failed housing first projects. The only people enriched through these programs are local politicians (look at the disgraced LA council members), developers, and corrupt union leaders. This is no different from the military industrial complex, and is accurately named, 'the homeless industrial complex'.
